Alex Fong
Location: Hong Kong
Dr. Fong is a scholar-practitioner. He is a believer in life-long learning. He has continued to pursue scholastic research and teaching activities alongside his career pursuits.
As a practitioner, Dr. Fong has worked in many different senior managerial capacities in both private and public sectors. As an entrepreneur, he is a Director of GRE Manufacturing Limited and GRE Alpha Electronics Limited, two privately owned electronics manufacturing companies. As an intrapreneur, he was the former CEO of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce and the former Directorate Officer of the Hong Kong government.
As a practitioner in corporate governance, he is an independent non-executive director of Hutchison Port Holdings Limited, Hong Kong Electric Investment Limited and Tom Group International Limited.
As a scholar, Dr. Fong’s scholastic journey covers both empirical science and humanistic studies. In his DBA research, he developed a 2P3C Model to understand the sustainability of corporate human capital competitiveness. In his PhD research, he created a set of tools comprising differentiators, integrators, and connectors to help us understand the patterns of self–others interaction experience among stakeholders in enterprises. They can be deployed by CEOs to support oneness as an enterprise governance approach focusing on responsible leadership, enterprise well-being, and enterprise sustainability.

Amy Yung
Location: Hong Kong
Ms. Amy Yung has extensive work experience in finance and investment. Amy is the Director of Private Equity Asset Management at Gaw Capital. Prior to the current role, Amy was the Investment Director at Gaw Capital overseeing real estate opportunities in Asia Pacific. She also worked at Goldman Sachs Global Investment Research across its New York, London, and Hong Kong offices. Amy received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Chicago and the Post-Graduate Diploma of Education from the University of Hong Kong. She has been on the board of schools, nonprofit organizations, and bursaries.

Andy Leung
Location: Hong Kong & Canada
Andy Leung is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Aquanow, where he drives the company’s technology strategy and oversees the development of scalable, secure infrastructure for institutional digital-asset trading.
With more than 15 years of experience in fintech and electronic trading, Andy bridges capital markets with blockchain innovation. In addition to his role at Aquanow, Andy is deeply committed to advancing decentralized finance (DeFi) through academia. In partnership with the Blockchain@UBC research cluster, he helped establish the Aquanow DeFi Lab, a multidisciplinary program that supports industry–academic collaboration, student-led research, and the incubation of new DeFi projects. This initiative underscores his passion for nurturing the next generation of blockchain talent and advancing the frontier of decentralized finance.
Beyond his work in digital assets, Andy is also an active angel investor, supporting early-stage companies across sectors such as agtech and biotech, reflecting his broader interest in technology-driven solutions that create meaningful impact.

Carolyn Zhao
Location: Hong Kong / Mainland China
Dr. Carolyn Zhao is currently the Founder of LinkLab Innovation, the Head of Seamless Ventures Asia and the Partner of TenX2, specializing in global high tech scouting and benchmark, innovation strategy and tech startup scale-up. She has wide network of academia, tech-related government departments, high-tech parks, startup incubators / accelerators and cross-industry multinational companies. Carolyn has engaged with hundreds of global top startups in corporate-startup collaboration and steered different levels of Proof-of-Concept projects, focusing on Digital Transformation, Consumer Healthcare, New Mobility, AIOT, etc.
With over fifteen years of experience in innovation, Carolyn was the general manager of an APAC Innovation Center in China and the corporate venture capitalist in the United States for an automotive Fortune500. Prior to that, she took different research, innovation and marketing roles in the fields of telecom, home appliance, lighting and green building.

Chen Fong
Location: Canada & Hong Kong
A radiologist by training, Chen Fong is currently the Professor Emeritus of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Calgary. He is also the Co-Chair of the Global Strategy Board of the Creative Destruction Lab; a platform for mentoring of young entrepreneurs.
Chen has 18 years of experience in the building of start-up entrepreneurial companies and is the co-founder of Pureweb Inc. Current board directorships include Pureweb Inc, Clarius Mobile Health, Cohesic Inc and Innovere Medical. He is active in the community and sits on a number of philanthropic boards in healthcare.
Chen holds an MD from the University of Manitoba and an Honorary Doctor of Laws from the University of Calgary. He was inducted into the Order of Canada and was inducted into Junior Achievement’s Alberta Business Hall of Fame. Other honours include election as a Fellow of the America College of Radiology.

Chiu Chau
Location: New York & ShenZhen
Chiu Chau is a seasoned entrepreneur in healthcare technology with an engineering background. Born and raised in Hong Kong, he graduated from the University of Hong Kong with degrees in Mechanical Engineering (ME) and earned a Master's degree from Georgia Tech. After leaving his PhD program, he began his engineering career in the US and launched his entrepreneurial journey in the 1990s within the biotech sector, experiencing both successes and setbacks.
In 2013, he founded Opentrons, a company specializing in low-cost, open-source lab automation, initially working from his basement. Opentrons joined HAX and Y Combinator, navigated significant challenges, and ultimately achieved substantial success during the COVID-19 pandemic, reaching unicorn status before his exit. Since then, he has become an active investor and mentor while also developing a new venture in pharmacy automation.

David Chung
Location: Hong Kong
Dr David Chung is a seasoned technologist, entrepreneur, and policymaker with over 30 years of experience. He is a strong advocate for impact investment. He held senior management positions in leading multinational, Hong Kong, and mainland enterprises such as Cyberport, Microsoft, and Jardine Pacific. He also led the expansion of several technology startups into international markets.
Currently, Dr Chung is the Founder and Chief Impact Officer of Impact D Limited. He previously served as the Under Secretary for Innovation and Technology Bureau of the HKSAR for two terms. In recognition of his contributions to the field, he was awarded the Iconic Star – IFTA FinTech and Innovation Award 2021/22 and was named Top CIO of Greater China by CEO/CIO magazine in 2013.
Dr Chung is actively involved in various high-level advisory committees in the academic, professional, and community arenas. He has served as a member of the Hong Kong Computer Society, IEEE Computer Society, Hong Kong Engineer Doctorate Society, and Hong Kong Professionals and Senior Executives Association. Dr. Chung holds a Doctorate in Engineering Management from City University of Hong Kong, an MBA from Metropolitan University of Hong Kong, a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management from Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a Bachelor of Science (Engineering) in Computer Science from Imperial College London.

Danny Lee
Location: Hong Kong
Danny Lee is an experienced investor with over 25 years of global private equity experience spanning venture, growth and buyouts. He is currently managing VCA Capital Fund I, helping individuals and family offices manage their private equity portfolio globally through both fund and direct investments.
Danny is also a senior advisor to Blue Pool Capital where he was a partner running global private equity since 2015. Before that he was a managing director at Bain Capital and Vice President at Investor AB, the largest industrial holding company in the Nordic region. He started his career with Lehman Brothers in NY. Danny has a BA in Economics from Columbia and is a CFA Charter holder.
Danny is an Aspen Finance Fellow and Edmund Hillary Fellow. He sits on the investment committee for New Zealand Elevate Venture Fund, on the board of the HK Venture Capital and Private Equity Association, and is the chairman of Seed Foundation, a youth education NGO sponsored by Alibaba Entrepreneur Fund. He is also the founding patron for the M+ Museum and the HK Palace Museum.

Edward Wong
Location: Hong Kong
Mr. Edward Wong possesses 20 years of diverse experience across multiple industries, with a strong focus on domestic, PRC, and international management. In 2009, he co-founded a Hong Kong-based company specializing in Digital Marketing, eCommerce, and Distribution. He also holds the position of Project Director at the CUHK Center for Entrepreneurship.
Throughout his career, Edward has held prominent management and executive roles at esteemed organizations, including BMW Group, China Travel Service Group, Logwin AG, and Winnington Metal & Plastics, where he was instrumental in driving business development and operational efficiency.

Erica Ma
Location: Hong Kong
Erica is focused on investing in the pioneers of our future and building a global home for entrepreneurs. She spent her early working career in Silicon Valley at Macy’s and eBay before returning to Hong Kong to build and operate CoCoon. Her work at CoCoon evolved to cover community, education and investments within an ecosystem for founders, students, investors, engineers, designers and corporate innovators. CoCoon is a partner of the Google for Startups network and runs the 92 Express Program to empower women founders globally to build hardware companies in the Greater Bay Area. Erica also serves on the Advisory Council of the Stanford Bing Overseas Program, Youth Development Commission and Women’s Executives Club at the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce.

Emmanuel Hui
Location: Greater Bay Area (GBA)
Emmanuel Hui is the Principal of Pentepebble – an early-stage healthcare and life sciences fund with a GBA mandate. For his portfolio, he serves as a Board member of Tonisity China, EggLogics, and Angene Biotechnology. Pentepebble is a spin-off from Sagamore, a China-only fund of funds, and is also backed by HN Group (Macau).
Prior to investing, Emmanuel co-founded Moogene Medi (KRX:322970) a gene therapy platform company. He also serves on the HKSTP Biomedical Technology Development Advisory Panel, and the Hospital Authority Central Institutional Review Board (Paediatrics). Vocationally, he is a Line Producer for H1Music (recent works: The Rescue, Anita, etc.).

Eric Chu

Eric Chun Pu Chu, an award-winning entrepreneur, healthcare innovator, and distinguished scholar, is a prominent figure within the global healthcare industry. Holding key positions as the Founder of New York Medical Group (NYMG) and the co-owner/Chief Business Officer of EC Healthcare (2138.hk), Dr. Chu brings his extensive experience and deep industry knowledge to steer these organizations along their entire value chains.
Possessing significant expertise in healthcare M&A and performance transformations, Dr. Chu has been instrumental in driving the improvement of patient outcomes through a profound understanding of consumer behaviors, beliefs, and needs. His strategic leadership and innovative approach have been pivotal in developing NYMG's strategies for navigating future healthcare challenges.
Dr. Chu's extensive operational experience includes establishing the core referral operations engine for a multiprofessional carrier via a health consultant channel. This involved overseeing various operational aspects, such as talent acquisition, retention and training, sales support, proposal delivery, pipeline management, and the deployment of other cross-industry tools.

Francis Pun
Location: Hong Kong
Francis is AVP, Exploratory and Industry TSG of Lenovo PCCW Solutions Limited. He has over 20 years of experience in driving business growth in the areas of innovation development, strategic programs and digital projects for the technology and industrial sectors leading teams in the APAC, EMEA and US.
Besides work, Francis on the Executive Council and is Co-Chair of the Innovation Committee of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in HK, connecting business leaders, academic professionals, and entrepreneurs. He sits on the leadership council of the University of British Columbia alumni body in Hong Kong and is active with the Richard Ivey School of Business' alumni.

Garry Yu
Location: Hong Kong
Dr. Garry Yu is a seasoned business professional with extensive experience in private equity and asset management. He earned his DBA from the University of Wales, with a research focus on holistic management in organizational digital transformation. Garry is currently the Director of PE Asset Management at Gaw Capital, and has held senior executive positions across various companies. He is actively engaged in business consultancy, corporate training, and community work.
With solid management and operational expertise, Garry consistently ensures high levels of quality and accuracy in strategic planning efforts and also lectures in his own time. He also serves as an MBA Adjunct Professor at Hong Kong Baptist University.

Gary Chan
Location: Japan
Gary is the Managing Partner of Sangyo Sosei Advisory Inc. He is a veteran of the Asian financial markets. After years as an Institutional Investors-ranked Telecommunications research analyst, he led industry-leading Telecommunications investment banking teams in HK and Japan for UBS (UBS 14yrs). Gary was most recently the head of the UBS Japan Financial Sponsors Group. He is bilingual in English and Japanese.

Henry Tan
Location: Hong Kong
Henry Tan is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Q Venture Partners, a venture capital fund investing in deeptech and hardware technologies, with focus areas including Enabling Technologies, Industry 4.0, Robotics and IOT applications. Henry is also the Director of Q Design Studio, a product design, engineering, prototyping and manufacturing studio with presence in Silicon Valley, Hong Kong and Shenzhen. He acquired his BA in Economics from Cornell University and MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.

Isaac Lui
Location: Hong Kong
Lui Wai Yin (Isaac), Ph.D. is the Program Manager at Pebble Accelerator, an early-stage biotech investment firm in Hong Kong backed by Tigermed and leading local life sciences stakeholders. He specializes in venture creation, technology transfer, and project management for drug and medical device development. Isaac actively supports the incubation and growth of innovative biotech startups by leveraging Pebble’s extensive industry resources and partnerships.
Isaac holds a Ph.D. from the University of Hong Kong, where he specialized in virology and immunology. His academic research focused on translational and basic studies in infectious diseases, contributing to publications that advanced the understanding of pathogen dynamics, immune responses, and the development of antivirals and vaccines.

Mr. Yi Xie (Jack) is a specialist in tech venture start-up project management. He is an invited researcher at the Global Consolidated Research Institute for Science Wisdom of Waseda University. He has engaged in various projects related to Japan-based startups.
In 2007, he started his career as a member of the Daiwa Securities New Industry Research. He was a senior researcher in the investment research field of the China TMT sector and contributed to the establishment of the Pan Asian research team as the team leader.
Since 2012, he has been engaged in corporate planning for mobile game company GREE Co., Ltd.'s expansion into China, and involved in the KPI management of the firm’s main game products in the Strategic Planning team.
Besides establishing his own app venture business, he has more than 10 years of experience in supporting tech companies' overseas expansion and advisory business.

Jimmy Lai

As a Senior Investment Manager at Saltagen, Jimmy leads the deal flow at the firm, by proactive deal scouting and screening across the relevant investment verticals. He also builds strong partnerships with notable universities and ecosystems across Canada and Asia to support startups’ global expansion.
Jimmy has experience building startups and growing teams. With his passion for education and technology, he built an EdTech startup providing career learning for young talents. Before joining Saltagen, Jimmy was a management consultant at Boston Consulting Group. Jimmy received his MBA from INSEAD and BBA (International Business and Global Management) from the University of Hong Kong.

Johnny Ma

Johnny Ma brings over two decades of global experience in healthcare and digital transformation, spanning clinical applications, digital hospitals, regional health systems, data analytics, AI platforms, and global digital infrastructure.
His career journey includes roles as a clinical applications specialist, local and regional team manager, regional business general manager, global industry CTO, and industry advisor to multinational corporate executives. Johnny has led transformative initiatives across Asia Pacific and globally, helping healthcare organizations and life sciences companies harness the power of data, AI, and interconnection to drive innovation and improve patient outcomes.
His cross-disciplinary expertise and passion for scalable innovation make him a valuable mentor to ventures aiming to commercialize science and technology for societal impact.

Johnson Cheng
Location: Hong Kong
Mr Johnson Cheng is the founder and partner at Voyager Capital, the VC arm of his family office that focuses on Series A-C AI and enterprise SaaS opportunities across the globe. Their portfolio includes companies like FiscalNote, AutoX, Sonatus, CrowdComfort, Full Truck Alliance, etc.
He also founded Voyager Education, which offers experiment-based science education courses certified by the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Prior to founding Voyager, he ran a B2B industrial goods and MRO e-Commerce platform that reached 800K+ members, over 3M SKUs, 186M RMB annual GMV, and a strategic partnership with JD.com (NASDAQ: JD).
He is a member of the Advisory Board of FiscalNote, Board member of the Family Business Network - Asia, member of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), and advisor for the Cornell Emerging Markets Institute. He received his B.S. and MBA from Cornell University.

Jovan Trajceski

Jovan leads the People Analytics CoE at H&M Group's supply chain portfolio for Asia, India, and Europe.
He has over two decades of experience in Analytics, Transformation, and Innovation across Telecom, Energy, Banking, Financial Services, Film & Media, Fashion, Consulting, and Public Transportation sectors in North America and Asia Pacific.
He previously was the Head of Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships (APAC) at a data science boutique consultancy working with Fortune 500 clients (L'Oréal, Dior, Kering, Schneider Electric, GSK, AXA) and the Founder of an HR Tech startup funded by Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) - one of the most prominent incubators in Asia, as per Forbes.
For the past decade, Jovan has successfully delivered large-scale AI & Cloud Transformation projects, streamlined infrastructure from silos to centralized enterprise roadmap, and modernized analytics from spreadsheets to predictive models to GenAI while fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making for Rogers Communications, Cineplex, CIBC, State Street, and Toronto Transit Commission, to name a few.

Joyce Chan

Dr. Joyce Chan, an award-winning Clinician and Clinical Affairs Executive, is a high-performing leader with more than two decades of international experience in healthcare. She champions quality patient care through world-class medtech innovations, and fosters best practices through strategic leadership, clinical expertise and the ability to effectively influence within a complex, cross-functional global environment.
Joyce is the Founder & Principal Consultant of Hubble Medtech Consultant Pte. Ltd. When she worked in OrbusNeich Medical Group Holdings, she led an international clinical team (US, China, and HK SAR) in clinical research and provides medical and regional insights from Preclinical to Post-market phases. She was a strategic partner to cross-functional teams throughout the organisation, ensuring global alignment throughout the various MedTech product lifecycles.
Leveraging more than 20 years of experience in the field, Joyce has a proven international track record as a subject matter expert in Evidence Generation, Pre-Clinical Research, Translational Research, Clinical Trials, Product Risk Mitigation, and Regulatory Approval. She thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments and has successfully led regional cross-functional teams in the expansion of clinical programs, driving more than 10 key MedTech initiatives in Asia and beyond, to date.

Joyce Ng
Location: Hong Kong
Joyce NG is currently the Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of CUHK Innovation Limited. She was the Investment Director of Cyberport Macro Fund and was the Managing Director at OurCrowd, a hybrid venture capital platform for investing in global startups.
With over a decade of experience in hedge fund management, Joyce was the partner and senior portfolio manager of Sumeru Capital, a Greater China-focused equity long/short fund. Prior to joining Sumeru Capital, she was a portfolio manager at LIM Advisors, managing an event-driven portfolio of Asia's oldest hedge fund. Joyce started her career at Citigroup Hong Kong, where she first worked as a corporate finance analyst at Global Markets and then as an Investment Counsellor at Private Bank. Joyce holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago and an MBA from Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business.

Kathy Leung

Kathy has over 18 years of experience in venture capital and private equity. She is the Managing Director of Full Vision Capital, an investment firm that focuses on smart energy solutions and innovative environmental technologies. Kathy is more than just a venture capitalist, she excels at identifying cutting-edge technologies and nurturing them grow from concept to market. Ken Chau

Maria Liao
Location: Hong Kong
Maria Liao is an executive in the electronics and manufacturing industry who has worked in Canada, China and Hong Kong. Prior to her current role as COO of Wise Ally Holdings Ltd., Maria has been involved in various MNCs and mid-size companies in global management roles, working with international customers that range from start-ups to industry leaders.
Trained as an electrical engineer, her earlier experience has spanned from large telecom and mission-critical control systems to household consumer electronics, journeying from design to project and then product management. Pivoting from products to service, Maria has subsequently been more engaged in electronics manufacturing, with responsibilities in sales and also operations management.

Marta K. Dowejko
Location: Hong Kong
Dr. Marta Dowejko currently serves as Director at the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Centre and as a BBA Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation Concentration coordinator at School of Business, Hong Kong Baptist University, Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong. She teaches coaches, and studies startups and their social capital. Her research focuses on new venture mentoring, founding teams, entrepreneurial social networks, and social capital, as well as entrepreneurial ecosystems. She has published articles in journals such as the Journal of Small Business Management and numerous book chapters for Oxford University Press, Emerald Publishing, or Wiley. Her research carries deep insights for the entrepreneurship community in the Greater Bay Area, being cited by the Economist, the Wall Street Journal, the South China Morning Post, the Hong Kong Economic Journal, or the Financial Times.

Michael Yung
Location: Hong Kong
Michael is currently a Strategic Advisor in Google Cloud Greater China Region, where he provides technology advice and guidance to clients on their long-term strategy. He has 40 years of experience in IT, with a particular focus on AI, Internet, eCommerce, and TravelTech. He is also an expert in web usability, computer security, and blockchain technologies.
Before joining Google, Michael held senior roles at a number of leading organizations in the APAC region, including Asia Miles, Caltex, Cathay Pacific Airways, the HKSAR Government, Hutchison eCommerce, HKICPA, Priceline, SingTel, and Tradelink. In these roles, he was responsible for developing and managing systems, as well as providing strategic advice and guidance.
Michael holds an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management. He is also a founding member and past chairman of the Cloud Security Alliance Hong Kong and Macau Chapter, and a past president of ISACA China Hong Kong Chapter.
Michael is passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems. He is also a strong advocate for security and privacy. He is committed to helping organizations adopt the latest technologies in a secure and responsible way.

Mike Mastroyiannis

Mike has 22 years intrapreneurial experience with technology corporates (Philips Electronics where he founded start-ups within the Business units, he was the CEO in Silicon Valley and Hong Kong) and OSRAM/ Siemens) and 16 years of entrepreneurial experience founding or scaling 4 different global start-ups and scale-ups in various industries (Consumer Electronics, Telcos, IoT Lighting, Energy, and IoT solutions). Nicholas Chan

Nicholas Chan is Investment Director at SC Investments LLC in San Francisco. Niles Ho founded Asset Plus in 2016 to invest and to incubate/build fast-growing global companies leveraging pan Asia capital and global resources to create exponential growth and value for the companies and their shareholders.
Previously, Niles was the Venture Partner and IC member of 36Kr.com (the TechCrunch in China), focusing on US-China cross-border collaborations. Prior to 36Kr, Niles was the General Manager of Investment at Wu Capital (family office for Madam Wu Yajun, chairperson of Longfor Properties, HKSE: 0960, top 3 richest female entrepreneurs in China), leading its direct investment arm and giving guidance in its fund investments globally. During his tenure, Niles invested ~US$50M in 2015, creating ~68% IRR. Before Wu Capital, Niles was the Executive Director at CDH Investments (one of the largest private equity funds in Asia, w/ >$20B of AUM, who was also the mastermind behind the US$7B acquisition of Smithfield Inc in Virginia, US). During his 7 years at CDH, Niles invested ~US$300M capital in retails, auto, TMT, as well as FIN industries (w/ MoM 1.88x).

Prior to joining ParticleX, Mingles played a pivotal role at KPMG China as the Director of Startup and Innovation Services, where he focused on consulting services for startups and innovative businesses.
