Alvin Hung is a dedicated technology enthusiast and entrepreneur with a strong background in the tech sector, focusing on B2B SaaS solutions. As the founder of Vyond, Alvin radically transformed the process of creating animated videos for businesses, making it as user-friendly as designing a PowerPoint presentation. This innovative approach has attracted a diverse clientele, including most of the Fortune 500 companies and numerous small and medium-sized businesses. Vyond-created videos can be commonly found on platforms like YouTube, showcasing its widespread popularity.
Starting with a modest workspace and a maverick vision, Alvin's dedication to innovation and teamwork paved the way for him to build a skilled team that has expanded to include over 200 professionals. With product development teams in Asia, business teams in the US, and customers all over the world, Vyond has grown into an international business, expanding beyond regional limits and providing services to a diverse array of industries worldwide.
With experience in startups, international growth, product development, and leading global teams, Alvin is currently involved in various investment projects. This includes seed investing in a new market-neutral hedge fund.

Andrea Livotto

Andrea Livotto is an experienced innovation professional and startup advisor with a strong foundation in finance, based in Hong Kong. He is Partner at growth and innovation advisory TenX2, where he helps startups scale through strategic partnerships and growth advisory.
With over a decade of experience consulting and advising startup entrepreneurs and corporate intrapreneurs across Asia Pacific, Andrea has played key roles building and scaling groundbreaking products, services, and business models.
He has served as a director of an early-stage startup accelerator, and has mentored numerous startups through their growth journey.
Before transitioning to the startup ecosystem, he spent 10 years in investment banking, creating investment products and funds for institutional investors, as part of a major global investment bank, and later its spin-off hedge fund.
Today, Andrea’s passion lies in climate-focused entrepreneurship. He is actively seeking to partner with ambitious startups tackling climate change, bringing his expertise as a hands-on advisor. He also aims to collaborate with like-minded investors, funds, and family offices committed to driving the shift towards a low-carbon economy and addressing the impacts of climate change.

Barbara Wang

Barbara Wang is the 2025 WINNER of the Prestigious 21st AmCham Women of Influence (WOI) Awards in the Category of “WOMAN CHANGE MAKER IN STEM.”
Currently, Barbara Wang co-teaches in the 1st joint Stanford PACS x CUHK Executive Education Program on Philanthropy, Family Offices, and Family Foundations. Barbara Wang is an Honorary Adjunct Assistant Professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK Med) in the Department of Otorhinolarynology, Head and Neck Surgery, accelerating global, impactful healthcare AI startups. Barbara Wang is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Faculty of Business & Economics (January 2025 – March 2025) for The University of Hong Kong (HKU). Previously, Barbara Wang was the Program Director, HKU Startup Connector of Techno-Entrepreneurship Core (TEC) (2023 – 2024), successfully accelerated 17 HKU AI startups with US$4,250,000 worth of Google Cloud resources in a record-breaking 3-months time, building the 1st and ONLY program among all Hong Kong universities.

Derek V. Exner
Location: Canada
Dr. Derek V. Exner, MD, MPH is a practicing heart rhythm specialist, professor, and Associate Dean of Innovation and Commercialization at the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary. He is an international authority on clinical trials. After navigating the complex path to market access approval for two companies he co-founded, Derek founded the Integrated Management Platform to Accelerate Clinical Trials (IMPACT) Program at the University of Calgary. IMPACTsimplifies and demystifies clinical validation and regulatory adherence, assisting health tech innovators over their development, from proof of concept testing through market access approval.
Derek has served in numerous leadership positions for clinical trials and has participated in multiple Canadian and International practice guidelines. He is a recognized international expert in cardiovascular medical devices for heart rhythm disorders and frequently lectures and trains physicians on surgical technique and best practices in this area. He is actively involved with innovation and commercialization activities, leading commercialization efforts for multiple medical devices, advising multiple large and small medical device companies, serving as an expert to the Canadian government, and actively mentoring companies through the Creative Destruction Network. Derek is also an active angel investor and board member at HaloHealth.

Erica Ma
Location: Hong Kong
Erica is focused on investing in the pioneers of our future and building a global home for entrepreneurs. She spent her early working career in Silicon Valley at Macy’s and eBay before returning to Hong Kong to build and operate CoCoon. Her work at CoCoon evolved to cover community, education and investments within an ecosystem for founders, students, investors, engineers, designers and corporate innovators. CoCoon is a partner of the Google for Startups network and runs the 92 Express Program to empower women founders globally to build hardware companies in the Greater Bay Area. Erica also serves on the Advisory Council of the Stanford Bing Overseas Program, Youth Development Commission and Women’s Executives Club at the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce.

Furuzonfar Zehni

Furuzonfar Zehni is a Partner of Fresco Capital and is involved in all aspects of investment and operations. He has extensive experience in developing and executing investment strategies for long-term resilience and strong know-how in developing and managing the operational foundation. Prior to Fresco Capital , Furuzonfar built and scaled businesses in data analytics, wealth management and investment advisory. Before plunging into the entrepreneurial world he was with Ernst & Young.
He is a TEDx license holder, a mentor for the Laudato Si Challenge, a mentor for Founder Institute, and is an active member of the Hong Kong University and St. John’s College Alumni Club. With the Shahidi Foundation, Furuzonfar is passionate about economic and cultural empowerment.

Isaac Ho
Location: Hong Kong
As a Consultant at Saltagen, a venture capital fund investing in deep-tech and innovative technologies, Dr. Isaac Ho provides clinical and medical insights to biotech startups and collaborates with teams developing medical devices and molecules, supporting their research and commercialization efforts. Isaac is also a practicing Clinical Oncologist specializing in urological and gastrointestinal cancers and the application of artificial intelligence in medicine. He has authored multiple academic publications on cardio-oncology in renowned scientific journals and serves as the principal investigator of a pilot study on medical AI applications in Hong Kong. Isaac earned his MBBS from the University of Hong Kong and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (Clinical Oncology) in the UK.

Louis Li

Louis Li is the Co-founder & CTO of Fraktiq. He has extensive experience in blockchain technology and Web3. He is also the Director & Advisor of Index Game; CTO of Ardgo; and Partner of Blockchain Specialist (RedSo).

Michael Chan
Location: Hong Kong
Michael has over 20 years’ experience in the finance industry and is a seasoned banker at Deutsche Bank Wealth Management since 2010, focusing on investment for the HK family offices. Previously worked in equity derivatives sales team at Lehman Brothers, Nomura and Citigroup.
Michael is also passionate and actively involved in the education sector and serves as the Director of Babylon Education since early 2010, covering business development for international school projects across Asia and investing in edtech projects.
Michael has a BBA degree from CUHK, an MBA from Columbia University, and is a CFA charter holder. Michael is also a adjunct assistant professor for HKU business school and sits on the board for Malvern College Asia and Columbia Venture Community.

Raymond is the founding partner of Bioworld Ventures. He is a seasoned executive with over two decades of strategic leadership in healthcare and medical technology, specializing in business development, portfolio strategy, and regional operations.

Theodore Ma
Location: Hong Kong
Theodore is the co-founder of CoCoon, one of the earliest and largest entrepreneurship communities in Hong Kong, with over 1,200 members and alumni. Startups that have participated in CoCoon's signature Pitch Night program have collectively raised over USD 6 billion. Among the two dozen startups CoCoon has invested in, notable ones such as Shopline and Ghost Robotics have been acquired by publicly listed companies in the U.S. and South Korea.
At MPower Technologies, strategy and analytical skills are the keystones of Theodore's role as Director, where he and his team harness the power of conversational commerce to revolutionize Asia's mobile salesforce. MPower Technologies focus is on delivering retail intelligence augmentation tools that significantly enhance brand engagement and optimize conversions.
As the Managing Director of MaBelle Jewellery, Theodore spearheaded the fusion of the brand's online presence with a robust physical retail network, crafting seamless Online-to-Offline experiences. MaBelle leveraged its strategic technology partnerships to enhance its reach, enabling rapid delivery to a global customer base and driving consistent double-digit growth in online sales.
Theodore serves on the Board of the Stanford Club of Hong Kong and the Board of the Hong Kong Applied Science & Technology Research Institute (ASTRI). Previously, he served on the HK Science & Technology Parks (HKSTP). Theodore is currently an Advisor at Our Hong Kong Foundation, a Member of the HKU Careers Advisory Board, and a Member of the HK Government's Elderly Commission.

Thomas Deng

Thomas Deng is the Chairman of Prudence Investment Management (Hong Kong) Limited.
Thomas holds double master degrees in economics and statistics from university of Utah, and received a B.A. in international finance from Wuhan university. He also completed the advanced management program from Harvard business school.
Thomas became a CFA charter holder in 2000, and currently serves as a member of the board of directors at the Harvard business school association of Hong Kong.

Vincent So
Location: Hong Kong
Vincent is the Founder & Managing Partner at Inspect Element, a venture builder that invests, nurture & scale startups. It supports startups like Preface, EventX, Finddoc, Pakpobox, Clearco & more.
Prior to Inspect Element, Vincent was an early employee and the first Product Manager at Klook, a travel unicorn startup based in Hong Kong.
He led the product growth team focusing on user acquisition, retention & monetization. Previously he was the first growth hire at GOGOX, in charge of global growth marketing initiatives.
On the side, Vincent is also an advisor to early-stage startups, and regular speaker at different universities such as HKU, HKUST, HKBU & PolyU. He is also mentor at foundersHK, an NGO providing consultation to HK founders, from early-stage to series C companies.

Wesley Choi

Wesley has over 20 years of general management and investment experience and is currently President of qonvolv Ventures, established in 2023, the corporate ventures arm of Tessellation Group. qonvolv Ventures aims to be the hub of industry knowledge and technologies for innovative growth in the fashion industry and beyond and conducts both incubations of creative solutions as new businesses and investments in emerging technologies in manufacturing excellence, digital value chain, green tech, and enablement of the future workforce.
Previously Wesley spent over six years with Esquel Group, having taken on various positions including Chief of Staff to Chairman, Head of Corporate Communications, and Head of Group Finance before establishing Esquel Ventures in January 2022.
Prior to joining Esquel, Wesley was an Executive Director of China Infrastructure Partners Fund and Bank of China International Private Equity, evaluating and investing in private equity opportunities with Greater China and Asia angles. Wesley also worked in investments and M&A at Oaktree Capital and Alibaba, after having started his career as a management consultant at Bain & Company.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Wesley obtained his Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering degrees in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Will Xie

Will Xie serves as the CFO at Atypical Ventures, a venture capital firm that specializes in investing in early-stage technology companies in China. With more than 15 years of experience in the field of private equity funds and venture capital, he has successfully taken on diverse responsibilities ranging from investment to operational management. Before joining Atypical Ventures, Will worked at Ernst & Young. Will is a CPA in Canada.

Yuan Shi

Yuan Shi is an early-stage venture capital investor, focusing on climate, food, and agtech. She is also an adjunct professor at the University of British Columbia, where she teaches entrepreneurial finance and innovation.
