(until spaces are filled)

This is a MBA practicum course on entrepreneurship. It requires students to work with deep-tech ventures in an upcoming Deep-Tech Lab programme.

Non-MBA students:

A limited number of students will be able to join. Students are selected according to their passion for the program, relevance of their knowledge and experience, and reflection on what they hope to learn and bring to the program.

Read the course outline and note the class dates in the schedule carefully before applying.

Please fill out the APPLICATION FORM and upload other useful information. DTL will schedule an interview with the application at an earliest possible date, and accepted qualified applicants on a first-come-first-served basis.  Spaces are limited and the selection will stop when all spaces are filled.  APPLY as soon as you can.

In September, the MBA Office will enrol the accepted applicants to the course. It is essential that students put aside credits in their study plan for registration and must get consent from their study program. DTL will provide assistance if necessary.

MBA students:

The MBA Office will introduce the course and host a practicum information session in mid-September (TBA). There is no need for an application. Interested students will register through the Office.

This course shall benefit students interested in business venturing, consulting, or a career related to investment, including VC funds, private banks, and family offices. Since students will meet with high-profile mentors, investors, and businessmen, it shall inform them how to pursue opportunities entrepreneurially and boost their CV for applying to consulting firms, corporate and professional service providers which incline to bringing in tech-savvy and entrepreneurial new recruits. According to Creative Destruction Lab in Canada, “10% of MBA students have declined offers from companies like McKinsey & Co. and Amazon to join CDL startups.” Certainly, joining a prospective deep-tech venture could also be a career option made available through this course.

DTL is modelled on a tremendously successful international incubator program called Creative Destruction Lab. See testimonials of students who joined similar courses in this Lab:
